Elite Coaching can accelerate rowing performance and positively increase the odds of getting recruited. The earlier high school rowers are exposed to elite rowing technique and conditioning the faster their erg scores improve. In my case, I was extremely lucky to have been coached by two elite rowing coaches who were awarded Coach of the Year by the International Rowing Federation. I learned how to self-coach and pay attention to details while steadily developing further physically and psychologically.
