Teaching the neuro-muscular system to move right under duress.

How do you teach yourself to move technically the right way when you are fighting as hard as you can and pain is taking over your entire body?

For one, and this is the harder way, focus on your technique, while you are pushing as hard as possible during a piece or a race.

Two, and this is the “easier” way, focus on your technique immediately when you finish a race, a piece, or an interval.  While your body wants you to stop rowing, keep going and row it off.  While you take those strokes it is crucial that you seek to perform the most perfect stroke.

In both cases your neuro-musclar system gets trained to perform with the most efficient rowing technique.

I recorded a video about this.  If you have not watched it, let me know and I will send you the link.
